So, I have been playing more and more with VUE 7. It's so much fun that I'm finding myself unable to finish one project. I'm constantly adding to or taking away from my scene just to see what certain things look like. And since I am a texture junkie I find myself playing with materials constantly to see how I can alter them to make them look exactly how I want. Sometimes I make a 'happy mistake' creating an unintentional cool effect.
If you are looking for a 3D software title that won't break the bank you really need to check out the VUE product line from e-on software. You can start with 'easel' their cheap end of the spectrum and continually side-grade up to the larger and larger versions as your pocket book permits.
You can also try out their new free title VUE Pioneer to get your feet wet.
VUE is without a doubt the easiest 3D program to learn out on the market. So, if you've tried other 3D program demos/trials and been intimidated don't throw in the towel just yet. Go visit the folks over at e-on Software
[link] and try out their amazingly easy-to-use software. Trust me you'll be happy you did, and within minutes of installing you'll be able to create pieces like this:
